Hello, Hello! Happy Monday (I’m trying to be cheerful so I don’t cry at the thought of night class tonight…)

Marvelous is… getting new headphones! Because this happened on the way home this weekend:

Marvelous is… looking through old year books this weekend! Definitely entertaining. Also, I forgot my nickname (and name of this blog) made it into my senior yearbook:
hilar.
Marvelous is… theme songs.
Let me explain. I’m not entirely sure why, but when I hear a theme song to a show I love, I get so SO happy. I’m totally just conditioned to get excited when I hear a theme song (Pavlov’s dogs over here). My FAVORITE theme songs that get me super happy or pumped are:
Game of thrones
Good lord I LOVE this show. I didn’t really expect to like it, but my friends got me hooked on it last year.
Sherlock
Did you guys expect anything less of me? This is the girl who got Sherlock underwear for Christmas after all…
Doctor Who
Good lord I’m such a dork. Look at the Christmas gift I got from my friend Alysse:

Scrubs
I feel warm and fuzzy just thinking about Scrubs. One of my favorite shows in high school. Still think it was one of the best endings to a show ever. I don’t care what anyone else says!
How I Met Your Mother

Seriously, how did I not start watching this show sooner? At least I’m all caught up to the new season. (Not like I watched six seasons in a couple weeks… nope….)
Ben and Kate
I don’t even think I really love this show, but the theme song makes me want to make myself hot chocolate and snuggle under blankets for hours.
Invader Zim
Let the judging begin. I really don’t know you guys. I just LOVED this show when I was younger… So weird, but so good.
I think that’s enough of my weird quirks for one Monday..

I’m a huge fan of theme songs. I’m such a geek – I love music from films. When I was at uni I’d listen to film music as any other music would distract me.

HAhahaha yessssss. JD (my bf.. not sure if I ever used his name here) totally got me hooked too. He also keeps telling me the producers made the show with the intention of making this specific season so it should be “the best one”. I buy it.

That’s actually how he got his nickname! Everyone from his home town and his family all call him ‘John’, but our group of friends started calling him JD here (….it may or may not have been because he had a black roommate…) so that’s how I think of him.
Totally weird to visit him in Ohio because his fam kept saying ‘John’.
